The pacing of the record is excellent. The transitions between the frantic, driving arpeggios on "Gravitational Fields" and the pitch-black drone textures of "Frozen Nitrogen and Methane" mimic an actual deep-space transit. Thaneco's and Romerium’s pristine mastering provides incredible low-end depth, making the massive synth swells feel tangibly large.
For purists of space ambient and progressive synthesizer music, this album is a stunning cosmic voyage.
It captures the terrifying beauty of the unknown and cements the duo as modern-day torchbearers of the traditional electronic vanguard.
